Synopsis
Rome, 204 BCE. A disgraced sellsword, wandering from tavern brawls, caravan escorts, village watch, territory disputes, smuggling runs and debt collections—finds himself fleeing the catastrophic fallout from a botched contract. Along the weary and arduous flight, he finds himself entwined with a fugitive bandit—a morose and vengeful woman unrivaled with the bow, who employs his sordid trade in search of the man who killed her father, and robbed her of half of her life.
Death Anxiety Fragment
A fragment concerning love, mortality, and the quiet terror of knowing that everything we love is temporary. A meditation on the human desire to hold onto another person even while knowing that neither life nor love can be possessed forever.
